Digital violence against women and girls (also known as technology-facilitated gender-based violence) involves any act of abuse committed, assisted, or amplified by information and communication technologies that results in physical, sexual, psychological, social, political, or economic harm.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE FORMS:

Image-Based Abuse (Revenge Porn) and Deepfakes: This involves the non-consensual sharing of intimate images or videos, often with malicious intent to shame, stigmatize, or harm the victim. It also includes the use of artificial intelligence to create realistic but fabricated sexually explicit content (deepfake pornography) using a person’s likeness.

Online Harassment and Cyberstalking: This encompasses a wide range of abusive behaviors, including verbal abuse, trolling (posting inflammatory messages to provoke an emotional response), repeated unwanted messages, surveillance (such as location tracking or monitoring activity), and threats.

Sextortion: Coercing a victim into providing intimate images, sexual acts, or money under the threat of public exposure of existing private content.

Online Grooming: Using digital platforms to build trust with someone, often a minor, with the intent of sexual exploitation or trafficking.

There are lots of other forms, but I will limit this piece to these forms mentioned.

REPORT ANY CASE OF DIGITAL VIOLENCE to us or other bodies involved in this activism.
